What white R&B singers?
:diddraispoot:

They name dropped Sam Smith & Adele.

Eric says why is it label 'genius' when they do it.

Thanks, love! Just finished listening. I don?t consider these folks R&B artists. Hmmm I get what he?s saying, I?m just trying to think of examples that make sense?true R&B artists who are white.

I'm more irritated by people who clearly were in another lane and suddenly decided to go deep fried once they saw some $$$.

There are many people who seem genuinely influenced by R&B music.

Post Malone is one of them - when I heard White Iverson I was like wow this is amazing
I dunno, it's just something that's deep within the song that makes you feel as if there's true inspiration there, and not a gimmick or convenient appropriation.

I wasn't surprised when I read that he grew up in a musical family that exposed him to all genres of music.
The mix of rock/hip-hop/R&B he does is fucking sick. And it seems so authentic.

xxccccxx

Yeah I never got fake from him

I saw an interview and that boy is HOOD :dead:

This was a bop but I low-key was like :udontlookok: at all the appropriation.

Blacks in the field clappin with me ya'll! Soul sistah! Nigga-approved!

:omf:

I wouldn't call Kelly a wannabe R&B singer but it definitely was a side eye moment for me.
