Doing the surprise release is actually riskier because if it flops she'll never hear the end of the Bey comparisons

if that's the plan it would work way better than it did for Bey

Ppl say Bey HAD to use the "tactic" as if it's just GUARANTEED for success
ppl could have easily listened to the iTunes previews and ignored the hell out of Bey
but they didn't because it is a great album, Bey has a loyal fanbase
and the general public buys her albums every time to fit in
