Jesus MJ's death left such an effect on me.

I remember I literally couldn't listen to anything but his songs for almost 2 months. I think it changed how I look at music as a whole tbh.

Everything about just READS fake like those clay doll chinks you obsess over.

everything about who babe?

because I KNOW you're not talking about me.

I loved Michael when he was alive but when he died I was OBSESSED.

all I did was listen to his music and watched interviews and the Jackson 5 variety show.

It even got me to really dive into madonna, Whitney, Janet Latoyas disco too

it seemed like it just wouldnt stop storming the night MJ died
my sister graduated from HS and it was hot and sunny. Then in the afternoon evening after the news broke that he died
it seemed like the lightning wouldn't stop

MJ's death didn't even feel real to me at first. I remember just reading that TMZ headline in complete disbelief.

Same with Whitney a few years later. I was so shocked and literally had a panic attack because I could not believe it.

I remember though I was on another site that banned talk about Chris Brown so me and the other Brexzys started lashing MJ for being a pedo to piss the admin off and then he died a day or two later and the admin tried to guilt us for his death.

QuoteKarim said the inspiration for YouTube first came from Janet Jackson's role in the 2004 Super Bowl incident, when her breast was exposed during her performance, and later from the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami. Karim could not easily find video clips of either event online, which led to the idea of a video sharing site.
