The thing that irks me the most is this trailer gives me a cheaper Stomp the yard/school daze/Dear White people mess


I just feel like with what's going on in chicago the story could come off way more compelling

I just feel like with what's going on in chicago the story could come off way more compelling
could be a little more serious as well. Laurence Fishburn would slay me way more than Samuel L jack' tbh.  This could have been some hard hitting shit, but his directing style ...  idk.  Sam narrating aint cute

And this movie is a modern day adaptation of Aristophanes's Greek Comedy 'Lysistrata'.

There's supposed to be a balance of tragedy & comedy in this. They are interconnected genres. The women are going on a sex strike to end war. It's funny because this makes the men want to get their shit together. Y'all don't know shit.
