Nicki is just out of touch with what's tea. That whole thing about her having to conform because of what was perched in the Top 10? Nah

We never saw Beyonc? running around in purple wigs singing with David or Calvin Harris despite having to compete with a bunch of white women her entire career. 4 is double platinum and it easily outsold any generic EDM album that was put out the same year.

I think the receipts show that they're in two different eras of music.

Good point but Rihanna doing Pop music as a black woman had no problem blasting past white women all throughout the 2000s. She has more #1s than all of those girls combined.

Even now with Urban dominating "Girls Like You" is slaying. Also, most of "I Like It" is in spanish. There's nothing in the Top 10 that sounds like it. There's also Ed Sheeran who spent about 2 months at the top with a pop record.

Kinda just proves a good record will perform well no matter what the majority of the chart is giving.

Only few survive it. Haven't seen a female rapper do it yet.

By next album she'll be like 40 and they'll be calling her the OG.

Rap is dominated by streaming not radio or iTunes so I can't see young kids lip syncing her songs on snap/insta.
