Sony Music admits it: They put out fake songs.

According to court documents obtained by the hip hop news site Karen Civil (via Vibe), Sony put out three songs which they claimed were performed by Michael Jackson, but were actually recorded by an imposter. The songs ?Monster,? ?Keep Your Head Up,? and ?Breaking News,? appeared on the 2010 album Michael, released after the singer?s 2009 death.

The news was brought to light thanks to a lawsuit filed on behalf of a Jackson fan named Vera Servoa against Jackson?s fans and a production company whom Servoa alleges created and sold the phony songs through Sony. Servoa claims that a Jackson impersonator named Jason Malachi recorded the fake songs.

Let's not forget they released Breaking News as the lead single off that horrible "album" and I think even made a video. How they were allowed to put that out so soon after his death with 3 fake songs...

But this Jason Malachi guy was rumored to be Michael's ghost singer years ago for the track 2000 Watts when people discovered his now deleted MySpace page and saw how he was so closely imitating MJ. So did Michael know about this dude or what??
