It's a real issue. I think it's more with women than it is men.
I rarely see men sitting around talking about how they want to manufacture their bvy. Or seriously cringing at the thought of their children coming out with kinky hair.

While I was researching hair care I ran across a FEW videos of dark skinned, kinky haired women who were on Youtube showing off their mixed children's hair. It kinda made me cringe. Of course they presented it as an "educational video", but there definitely was an underlying self hate. One woman actually said "Don't know what type of hair my child has, but it's DEFINITELY not type 4." And the sad part is that her child actually had beautiful, soft type 4 hair. :dead:  Which some of the commenters pointed out to her.  :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: :plzstop: embarrassing. on so many levels

Imma try to find the vidya.

It's interesting how she says her hair is "definitely" type 3, but her daughter doesn't even have very loose spirals or corkscrews that make 3c. She does absolutely no research on hair types, but simply jUMPS to the conclusion that her daughter is "definitely not type 4"
:uhh:

The commenters shaded the fuck out of her.

I hear guys do it alot too! "Oh cant date a chick darker than me, I want pretty babies" even heard a dude say "I want a North not a Blue".

Seems like alot of women from other races are catching wind that these black guys desire to be with them is rooted in some issues. I feel latina women specifically are slowly not digging it.

It's kind of sad.

We joke and hehe haha about this stuff but these are children these people are messing with. Their own children at that, forcing them in front of cameras to show off their hair and mess. Let them be a fucking child, not your Youtube model. Stop living vicariously through them.....make a vidya on how you take care of YOUR hair.

it worries me because it almost makes me feel their own mother may be jealous of them in some way.
