Just stick to making R&B music. Imho, Tank has no mainstream appeal.

Everyone isn?t meant to be a pop star, but l do feel like Tank makes good music. Some of his shit sounds better than a lot of the shit we call ?Male R&B? today. Not to mention, he?s written and produced hits for several  R&B artists.

I just feel like he never gets his due. Don?t care what nobody say.

No I believe he makes great music. I just never bothered to listen though outside of a few singles. I just don't think he has the mainstream appeal to attract a broader audience. Just stick to making R&B music for your core fan base.

I place artists like him, Keyshia Cole, etc inside the chitlin circuit. They're just not meant to be pop stars or have the mainstream appeal to be one. But it doesn't negate the fact that they make great music period.

Well he shouldn?t feel obligated to make one particular type of music. But if he think he?s bout to take Megan and Becky by storm he?s sorely mistaken. Nothing about Tank even says ?Pop?

IDK why people act like Black people doing anything other than R&B is wrong though.

Like R&B isn't a requirement. If he wants to do pop music go for it, but if he's doing it cause he things Pop fans are more loyal than he's foolish.
