Honestly for the last few years I've been trying to be black as fuck, kinda 'extra' just because  :plzstop:

I don't know why. I guess because I spent my first like 20 years trying to not offend white people

omg I hated trying not to offend white people. Growing up older black people pretty must forced it in our heads to edit ourselves so we don't scare white people.

"Give your kids a PROPER name", "Don't dress a certain way.", "Talk this way around white people."

Its no wonder everybody got fucking tired of white people and just started lashing them.  :uhh:

KippDaddy

Ummmm not sure because my go to is charm and I feel like charm is Inherently phony so maybe?

Opposite for me growing up

My grandparents just pushed for education and made sure i knew how to talk, read, write, spell, dress nice etc

It had nothing to do with white people. They just wanted me to have a better life than they did.

I've always been apologetically black. Never really cared how white people perceived me, but I did notice they would make comments on how I spoke or act because they assumed since I was black I should behave a certain way. And the ones in my family are kinda ghetto anyway.

My family never really cared because they're all kinda bougie anyway and I rarely heard them mention white people.

It was when I went to school, church etc.,

Our damn Mayor went to my church and would come to church every sunday and go on rants about white people cause he knew nobody would spill the tea cause barely anybody came to church unless it was a holiday.

I went to an all black school and my town is 80% black and segregated so I was so confused why they white people had them so pissed all the time  :plzstop:

The reaction to the Cardi/Nicki mess was a prime example

"oof oh no! fashion week! upper echelon! can't do that!"

Girl, most of those people in the room were coked out of their minds, drunk or a combination of both and niggas are worried about looking respectable to theme

Although my mom did hate the era when I would talk like Plies and told me to stop talking like a fcking field slave, but that had nothing to do with white people. She just hated it in general

When I see black people on facebook talking about "I need me a white girl/boy cause black people don't act right.

I just wanna take them by the hand and let them see the white peopel doped up on any and everything and crying and throwing hissy fits because their significant other blocked their number

I got so fed up I legit asked on day "Have y'all ever...been around white people?" :diddraispoot:
