Herb.

Am I the only one who slightly cringes sometimes at the sight of a black women with a blond wig? To me it's like imitating a white womuh, since clearly African Americans do not grow blond hair.

Notice how stunning some of them look once they DITCH the mess for something more natural looking. (And I suppose "natural looking" could be argued as well since we don't grow straight hair either, but mess. Work with me here!)

The second pic isn't the best but I didn't feel like investing too much time searching for a better one. We all know what the general consensus was: "KEEP the black hair Tamar!"......

guys, what do u think? :ohwow:

Don't see the difference in wearing blonde weave (or dying it that color) as opposed to all the other colors in the rainbow.
Its a "look". Either you look good wearing colors or you dont.

I don't see the problem

there's nothing wrong with playing with hair colors.

Now if you've got blonde hair, blue contacts and went to the doctor to have your nose pinched and are slighter getting lighter day by day then yeah youre a nut

Kaeli.

But yeah, I don't think the intention is to imitate a white womuh. I think most genuinely think they look good with it or wanna try some new mess.

I thought of that too.

but what about those who pair their blond wigs with blue contacts?
Can we still write this off as nothing more than a "look of the day"?

The question becomes, what "look" are you going for?

That's something entirely different then.
I cant think of anyone in entertainment besides Countess whose done that.

actually... Ive never seen that on someone in real life. Except a drag queen.  :dead:
