The musicianship, vocal prowess, showmanship and downright SOUL. I get chills every single time. She?s studied the ones who have come before. It?s evident. She?s an artist and today is when we give her her flowers.

Fantasia is doing her thing. In fact, she?s got one of the most faithful followers aside from Carrie and Kelly. She?s making her art, touring and performs DOWN.

Gilgamesh.

She makes a killing on the road so I don?t think commercial success is a priority for her anymore.

Now that she?s independent I?m curious to see what she can do. I?d love for her to work with Anderson.Paak and Raphael Saadiq.

Those are two stellar options for her. They make sense. And Fanny is doing just fine. She?s the type that passionate about making the type of art she desires in that moment. She?s not been concerned with the "mainstream" for some time now. If ever.

Kalifornia.

One of the best live performers I?ve experienced.

She actually made me cry.

My only issue with Tasia is that her albums aren?t up to par. She needs to work with better writers, preferably one or two and a producer that plays music (John Legend, Raphael Saadiq, Robert Glasper). If you?re gonna be Rock Soul really commit to it.

Her first three albums are solid as hell. "Side Effects" and "Definition Of..." did seem to lack cohesion. I didn?t think having Harmony Samuels as executive producer for a project was all that wise. His work is good at very best but is not who you should turn to for "Rock Soul". I agree. I think there are so many dope musicians/producers unknown who could execute and give her that album she deserves.
