The writing could definitely be better but I couldnt really see anybody else as Cookie, maybe Regina King.

I actually agree. Justin can't stand Taraji and the singing brothers. Jussie makes me cringe, Yazz is awful and taraji is just ok.

Terrence really created a personality an atmosphere.
