So I was thinking that Brandy has done all kinds of TV live performances and interviews over the years. It would be really great to see HQ videos of them on her official YouTube, Vimeo etc so that her fans can really enjoy what she's done over the years.

True but she still gets a lot of views on YouTube even her unreleased songs..some of them are over 1M views or surpassed that

The network usually decides this and the label would have to fight for it to get on there and for them to reach a financial agreement on how the pay out would be for views and ads

It's not an impossible process, it just requires some effort yes.

If Brandy or her team have a "YouTube" clause built into her contracts for example that guarantees she's provided a HQ copy of the video for her pages etc - companies responsible for collecting the royalties etc deal with the back end at YouTube etc

If they don't agree to the clause she doesn't do the interview / performance etc - they will agree
