And I was talking about sunscreen, I used toothpaste as a comparison as to why you need to use it every day to get the maximum benefits.
Dentists recommend brush twice a day at least, and infective brushing can cause to you missing bacteria, plaque and tartar.
You eat everyday no? So you need to brush every day, even if you don't eat everyday you need something to clean away the bacteria, acids eating at the enamel, formation of plaque ect.
So yes not brushing consistently and properly everyday is the same as not brushing at all.

Same as not using sunscreen every day, sun damage is culmantive, this means it doesn't disappear overnight and you get undamaged skin the next day.

My grandma doesn't use sunscreen and her mess is smooth as fuck it amazes me how great she looks tbh

And she's a lighter brown womuh

But then I see people who are darker than me looking 70 at 40 years old 

I only use it when I'm in the sun for hours at a time.

I'm honestly not concerned about looking a MESS at a young age.  Nobody in my family looks a fool at 60/70/80
