I'm so on the fence because:

A) I definitely believe in taking everything about a man into consideration. Of course there's the initial physical attraction (which is the easiest part obviously) but if you take the possibility of a future together with him seriously, there's so many other things to factor in .

BUT

B) If we were only making 1400 a month I'd be interested to know why.

Is he making so little because he's dedicated his time to helping those in need and doesn't make much profit from it? If that's the case I'd kinda be very impressed with something like that  - as long as he's able to pay his own bills.

And never asks me for one dime, etc.

Ultimately, I'd definitely prefer someone who is comfortable financially though. I'm not checking for ballers or anything. But someone who is just comfortable like I am. It'd just make things a lot simpler and smoother.

But I don't feel a need to hop on Facebook to say, "Broke niggas need not apply! LMAO!!!!"

OKAY! Now we all think certain things in our heads and have certain standards. BUT to blurt this mess out on social media is just plain ignorant.

If this was back in the day, that logic would work but we're in a different time. The cost of living has changed. If a relationship is 50/50 what bills could he pay bringing home $1.4k a month and still be able to take care of his personal necessities?
