I think many Black people represent White owned companies.

If you're in corporate America , chances are you are representing a White company to get your check.

However, if a White owned company asked me to smile with a bottle of hot sauce or fried chicken wing in my hand for  a photoshoot, I wouldn't say no problem and sing "We are the world" as the camera snaps.

I'd definitely feel some type of way about it.

Does that make sense?

I get it but that?s why I?m asking why it?s so offensive? Black people are the target demographic for this seasoning. There would be major outrage if Amy Schumer did this endorsement and not a black person, no?

It's clear that they identified a demographic that purchases their product a lot and found a woman from the community to push it more for them during the holiday season.

Nothing but clever marketing at work. I'm not here ready to march for justice, but I'm not jumping for joy about it either. I'm indifferent.
