Artists interpolating songs is not a new practice. Rappers do it. Singers do it. If we're calling this "thievery" and "unoriginality", then most of the music industry, if not all, are unoriginal thieves.

Cardi is a special case

She's not an exceptionally literate girl so the gorls quickly brought her writing "prowess" into question when she came out. We basically know she doesn't write, but for her to go and brag about stealing nigga's flows?

That makes her a joke

I'm still iffy on all this ghostwriter mess. I doubt Cardi never penned any of the songs in her discography.

I (personally) think she writes her shit and have people clean up any errors, because like you said, Cardi isn't exceptionally literate.

And as for the flows, I don't really have a comment for that one. Cardi can be original if she wants to. She can't keep relying on other flows if wants to continue being taken seriously in the game.

But I only know about her interpolating Kodak's song. Are there any other instances?
