Even with a devastating loss, no one is grieving/broken up 24/7. They still need some sense of normalcy and will need to do normal things to cheer themselves up. And that's just one snapshot of a particular moment. Who knows how they're dealing with it in their alone time. Which is why it's hard to look at picture and try to read into a person's state of mid.

It?s best to do things that keep your mind occupied and away from pain. Are they supposed to stay home and grieve for a year?

Everyone handles things differently. I don't like to cry in front of people. My mama was in the hospital for 2 days and I cried both days non stop. She died at 3:53am, and that was also my best friends bday. So later that night we all went out to eat, the sex store etc. Sometimes you just need an escape.

but yea I remember when my Grandpa died when I was 10 & my grandma and mom tried to have this dramatic ass sit down with me tell me that they were pulling the plug. I was like...ok? He?s been on bed rest for like 2 months and kept eating unhealthily

Anyway what I?m trying to say is ppl handle grief differently.
