i honestly dont think you have to hit a child to make them understand

my mom made me stay inside for 2 weeks once when i was like 8 and i was in PAIN

but, i dont think a PINCH 1-2 times has a negative effect. sometimes kids just dont GET what you're saying and need to FEEL it.
