Stuff like that is important to be upfront about, if you choose to.

Some people sit and wonder and wait for a reply, etc. "Did he get it? Why hasn't he responded yet? Has he read it yet? hehe" etc.

Getting straight to the point saves them the worry. Very blunt but, at least they know and keep it moving.
