Diane should not speak out unless she?s finally putting him on blast.  A person who is supposedly making up rumors about your daughter is not worse than the person who actually sexually abused her.    You?re mad at someone saying they were having sex, but have said nothing about the man who actually DID have sex with her?

The Haughtons may have signed an agreement not to speak, but they either need to say it all or be quiet, IMO.

And yeah, the parents do deserve some blame here because EVERYONE was suspicious about their relationship.  Inappropriate things were done right in everyone?s eyes.  If the parents had put their foot down, it may have never escalated.  I think they partially stayed silent to avoid criticism themselves, which is selfish, IMO.
