Monica?s impact ain?t that.    I keep telling y?all... aside from "The Boy is mine? she was just a moderately successful R&B chick.   Nothing groundbreaking or iconic abt anything in her career.    It?s no shade just facts.

You surely thought higher of her when you were sending her songs

I thought highly of a potential placement. I send records to whoever is looking!  It could be Teairra Mari, Monica or Beyonc?. I?m not the one who has to think highly of her tho... clearly the powers that be don?t, not my fault!  A spade is a spade.    I like Monica but me liking her doesn?t change the trajectory of her career like some of you try to do.

When it comes to R&B chicks in her time and era; Monica has not only stood the test of time but remained relevant and versatile enough to revamp her image each time while remaining true to R&B music

Nahhhh hun she was opening for Xscape...  A plus one on a reality show!  It?s too late in her career to not be on the marquee & still playing back up.   It?s her seniority thats carrying her today. Don?t shade me because in 20+ years no one cares to piece together a docu for your superstar!   If she was ALL that we wouldn?t be in a thread abt why no one cares outside of her fans.
