Why is mon being discussed in here?

Li?s mess sold more after she died btw

Faggot shut up no it didnt. There was a spike shortly afterwards and thats it. Just like anyone who dies.
Yea she didn't sell MILLIONS more after she died.  She's the 2nd best girl in the trinity

Where did I say she sold millions lol. I said she sold more when she died and everyone had agreed on that.
but AANBAN and Aaliyah both went from Gold cert to double platinum in 2001 and 2002 so yea it was millions more

Rock the Boat, MTAW, and I Care 4 U would have been hits regardless.

says who? Resolution wasn?t a hit so there?s really no telling what would have caught on

RTB was already getting spins at radio, which is why they rushed it out as a second single.  WNAR underperformed, but the other singles sounded more mainstream.
U think he'd know this since daja vu and ring the alarm both underperformed and beyonce didn't really have a hit until irreplaceable came along, but whatever. Hey baph lolz
Deja Vu was top 5 and Ring The Alarm was#11
to compare them to Resolution which was not even top 40 is not a great example :dead: they were still HITS and moved units for the album
and B'GOD was already GOLD on its first week but howdy do!

black bitch
And Aaliyah was already gold
in a MONTH not a week
Clearly one album had huge momentum and was smashing with HITS and the other was doing ok with a flop

And Aaliyah was already gold even with a flop first single and nothing else released. So like i was saying, even with underperforming 1st (and in Beyonce's case 2nd) singles girls can still move units and their eras aren't over because of them.  Thanks
Mel, u see this? Respond to it lolz
This is my pass to say WHATEVER tf I wanna say about the mess she releases so I don't wanna hear SHIT! Baby mama is a mess of a song btw

RAY7

BDay was certified Platinum on October 6th 2006
Irreplaceable was released October 23rd 2006 but yeah

RAY7

Also Bday sold 500k first week and Dangerously in Love sold 300k first week
But sure she was underperforming

🦚

Bday was beys fastest selling album prior to self titled. Some of y?all will say anything.

True tea is the red album was underperforming and WNAR was not doing what it was supposed to do. Who knows what would?ve happened if she had the chance to release more singles without the tragedy.

I def believe rock the boat was going to be a smash regardless.

Li' sold more than mon' ..... ?

Doves....

It's time to reevaluate this 3rd position of the trinity.
Always thought Liyah was 3rd due to few albums.
Aaliyah has always been 2nd imo. And few albums?  She has 4 albums and brandy has 6 and been alive damn near a whole 2 decades more.  CH!
Sjsjsjsj
That is not a fair comparison. We know Brandy takes huge ass Breaks between albums. Liyah did those THREE albums in her lifetime, and they debuted around the same time. Brandy was still on her 2nd, moving into her 3rd by that time.
All this nonsense.  Brandy has 6 albums and a girl that's been gone coming up on 20 yrs has 4. These are just the facts.
Vonc what are we even arguing about?
