Love & Hip Hop star Yandy Smith is PEPPER-SPRAYED outside Brooklyn prison  while demanding heat for inmates who have been left without power for SIX DAYS
Fire last Sunday at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center cut off power
More than 1,600 have been trapped in cells with no heat during polar vortex
Inmates' relatives have been protesting at the prison through the weekend
On Sunday the protesters were sprayed as they tried to enter the prison together
Some were thrown to the ground, others crying and gasping for air from spray
Prison has said that all power will be fully resorted on Monday as elected officials decried the prisoners' current horrific living conditions
