This is my issue. If he wanted to casually date that's all he had to say. Dude was lying the whole time And didn't want me "casually dating" or talking to anyone else. Meanwhile he was casually dating and had a whole bf of 2 years the entire time. I was very upfront and transparent since day one. I even told him  I just want to focus on him and take him seriously if we were both on the same page. He clearly wasn't and was being manipulative.

I was saying and doing things I wouldn't normally do, situations like that can really turn YOU evil and then you become no better than them.
It's all a learning experience though, you'll be suprised how much you can tolerate shit until it boils over.
