i was thinking the exact same!!! It's like a Kelela and Thundercat album gone wrong!!!

She should've done 1 of 3 things...  

1. stuck to the Amerie/Thundercat vibe of Way to the Show for the album. 

2. Gave us more of a Kelela/experimental vibe. Ex: the last 25 seconds of Jerrod. STUNNING!

3. Or just gave us some real fucking knock. This one foot in, one foot out mess with knock is tired.
