I just

ion KNOW

i do get a bit uncomfortable when I see Super dark skinned models

I feel like why are they so dark it looks photoshopped? Like that's not a real skin color

you know?

maybe it's to make the colors pop on the clothes
it just feels subliminal

Sinpool

Oh wow, ok
:sistas:

Thanks for your honesty.

Your concern was actually pretty reasonable I think.
You've never seen people so dark so you wonder if someone has altered it to make them darker.

Which would be just as offensive as a company moving to intentionally lighten a Black person's skin for an ad.
Just them be who they are. I can understand that.

Yes

Most dark skin colors have a bit of a red undertone to them

I can't explain. Like a warmth to it ya know?

This pitch black color is sum I'm not use to seeing in real life

I get what you're trying to say.

It's very honest.

I appreciate him for that, the honesty.
You learn something everyday.
I think it comes down to experience, real-life experience, sometimes.
