I really hope that we can really talk about this kind of behavior with black men because I know when I was in high school it was common for guys to sexually assault women and if the girl allowed it she didn't deserve respect, but if a girl fought back the guys respected her even the teachers would reprimand girls for "letting" guys touch them more than guys for touching girls
These men are now adults with children and I know we're getting to a point where we're more open about toxic masculinity but there are still a large group of MEN and WOMEN in the black community who want to uphold toxic masculinity while talking down on females.
