Anything that can be refuted by verifiable fact can be questioned.

This, while ridiculous, is not beyond the realm of possibility, IMO.  She never spoke about it, even to her serious boyfriend years later.  Diane never speaks out against R. Kelly, although she has every reason to.  And she's already proven to be a terrible parent. 

I'm not saying it's true, but Diane ain't Claire Huxtable and I can't put anything past these people.   

He could be lying.  Lisa could be lying.  I hate to think the pregnancy was real, but it could explain why the fake marriage happened.

And how has Diane proven to be a horrible parent? Because we think she let Aaliyah live in RKellys house of months? Because we know how often she actually checked in with Aaliyah? Because we know she was never ever there? For one, yes you don't trust any man.... but RKelly wasn't a known creep to the world before Aaliyah. She had no reason to be alarmed outside of the suggestive lyrics which are a part of marketing. In hindsight they were obviously clues but we're talking about RKelly before any scandal. Not only that but I'm sure she expected Roberts manager, Aaliyah's uncle, whom she probably put faith and trust in to keep an eye on his niece. Probably explains their non existent relationship today. I know y'all want to blame the parents as much as RKelly but I don't think Diane is the one sorry.

Aaliyah not speaking about it isn't indicative of any pact, either. You don't play gunshot sound effects around someone with PTSD. Is it a pact or did she just not want to relive the shit like, these theories.

Diane and Michael chose Aaliyah's career over her protection and justice.

There is no way they, and Barry, saw the same signs everyone else did and thought it was all innocuous while we all correctly assumed they were having sex.  

They should have shot him or made him go to jail.  They chose to go to court, get paid next to nothing for silence, and pretended it didn't happen.  They stayed silent after Aaliyah died when they could have help (at least indirectly) get him out in jail.  They're quiet even now, except when she chose to emphasize Aaliyah never had sex on a bus.  Ch...

As an Aaliyah fan since she came out, there was never some mass speculation about the 2 AS IT WAS HAPPENING. We can put the pieces together and give "duhh" now, but as it was happening, there was more speculation and mystery about her age, than what she was to rkelly outside of his protege, because like Insaid he wasn't a known creep at the time.
