Monica should have been top 10, Toni should have been #1, and Aaliyah should have been around 20. I hate these type of charts because they dont go by numbers on what they think. Toni ruled the RNB 90s, more than Mary.

sweetie, mary released an album every 2 years in the '90's... outside of mariah, nobody was doing that... i like toni too, but when did she ever "rule" '90's r&b?  and monica top 10? maybe top 20...

That's cute and all, but all of Mary's singles released in the 90s combined wouldn't match the number of weeks "Un Break My Heart" charted!

I'm sorry but when I think of "90s R&B" Mary is literally the first person that comes to mind, along with Robert, The Trinity and SWV. Toni sold more but her music didn't impact the sound of R&B or the culture as much as Mar' did imo.
