i still love the concept and the movie up until that point, but that's where it fell flat for me. i just knew i was going to use this mess 100%

they could have dabbled in the concept of duality, or the concept of how we're our own worst enemies it some mess. there def should have been a supernatural element to this. that would have given them room to really MESS and still make some sort of sense.
