I feel like it really wasn't hard to decipher. I spent most of my time in the movie trying to be sure im analyzing cause at some point it lost being entertaining and became more so about figuring it out.  Then you get all the way to the end and the twist that everyone is talking about really wasnt much of a twist and was kinda predictable.

I think everyone coming out with their own interpretation is what's adding to the confusion and mess. It's a double edged sword cause you can literally have dozens of answers for the symbolism in the movie but I also think that's whats making it seem less cohesive. To some that makes a great movie I guess.

Kinda hate seeing everyone go to all these damn lengths to validate their understanding of the movie...like... its like the personification of try-hard "woke" ppl.

YEA... I'm just assuming my question was just left unaddressed in the movie. I was reading a synopsis about "how did they do it?" and it still didn't explain anything.

All this "symbolism" and "hidden messages", but nobody can explain the focal point of the plot.... how did they actually untether?
