but it's not a HUGE deal to celebrate on the day. many Natives celebrate Thanksgiving. Especially those who are more intertwined with American culture. They connect with the family aspect of it, but knowing that they do still not agree on the basis of the holiday. My great grandmother raised my grandmother with Thanksgiving in the household.

Kind of like how a church will have a "Harvest Party" for the kids on Halloween. They throw a party of sorts to join in on the fun, but do not allow the satanic costumes, etc. that go along with it. Same concept

But don't get me wrong, I use the fact that you don't celebrate it.  :popeyes: :popeyes:
