Meanwhile Brandy, Monica, Usher, Mya, Aaliyah, DC4
were interestingly selling well, but still less than the whites

Brandy and Usher held their own against the Pop heavyweights.
they still sold less

But they sold respectable units tho.

And Backstreet Boys and Christina album sales started to deteriorate by their 3rd and her 2nd album.
well yea I said they sold well, but no where near the white ppls numbers except Usher with Confessions
My Way and 8701 and Never Say Never did not sell like 12 million
like Britney's Baby One More Time

My Way sold 4.7 but shipped 6 million

Baby One More Time sold 10 million but shipped 14 million

But Never Say Never did sell 14-16 million copies worldwide. That's a huge accomplishment.
Im not debating with what you're saying
I'm just observing the CLEAR discrepancy

∧ ∨ ∩ ∪

I'm not buying her alber. This whole campaign is fraudulent.

QuoteJive shipped 4.2 million copies for the album?s March 21 street date, then sent out 2.3 million in reorders on March 22. ?In every instance they had enough product pressed and ready to go, and turned around orders in a day,? says retailer Grandoni. ?If they hadn?t been ready for it, stores would have sold out after a couple days which would have limited their first-week sales.?

http://www.ew.com/article/2000/03/29/how-n-sync-made-history-selling-24-million-albums

Jive was confident in N*Sync.
Now see....  I think THIS is a major part of it too

I still remember the gorls running around saying Human racks were EMPTY.

Of course gorls will turn around and go burn a quick copy.

But it will be interesting to see if this strategy will work for 'Dele so deep into the digital age. I don't DO physical copies at al anymore, what for?! To clutter up my trunk!

I get that I'm just saying at that time I don't think it had anything to do with them being white. It just that Pop music became a fad and was at the forefront during the early 00's
