Ur theory is they could control their movements and actions.  Him hitting himself in the head and the clone being hurt isn't the same thing as that.  Ur scrambling.  If anything it supports what I said much  earlier in here which was they shared a connection, which is What the boy discovered in that closer and not that he could "control" him

This is where my thought process was too. So it wasn't unique to Adelaide/Red or proof of the experiment being successful cuz they all had the "connection" it was just a matter of who (like the son and the dad) picked up on the connection and became conscious of it and used it to their advantage
