Colorist comments are pretty commonplace these days....Kodak actually got more backlash than most for his dark skin comments IMO...And I think it's because of the way he looks. A lot of the attacks I saw being launched began with something like "This black ass burnt nigga got the NERVE..." He definitely got lashed for it.

But these comments he made about Lauren were extraordinary ...

I don't even think it's so much about Lauren. If she were connected to some ordinary, run of the mill ass ringtone rapper who contributed absolutely nothing to his community I don't think anyone would bat an eye. He'd get the lashing and they'd send him off like they did for the darkie comments.

But Nipsey was just a different type of dude and deserves more respect IMO. Kodak is young so this'll be a teaching moment for him. I still think it's getting too much attention but I hope he learns that not every single thought has to be expressed openly.
