I love Brandy and I love Monica. I actually stan more for Brandy because of how she treats me as a fan. At my age now, I don't have the time to really stan for either like I used to but at one point both singers knew me, not my name really but they knew who I was when they saw me. Both are very welcoming, but Brandy is extremely open and personable with her fans, Monica is like thank you so much, Bye.  I had met Monica about 5 times prior to meeting Brandy, because I was from the south and its easier to meet Monica, as she loves the chitlin circuit. After meeting Brandy I started feeling as if Monica did not appreciate me as a fan. 

 When I first met Brandy was at a club for a Ray j release party back in 07 when I moved to LA. She was so nice, accommodating and kind. She was protected at this time because it was not long after the accident, because I remember them leaving and she saw paparazzi can got VERY afraid, and screamed to Ray J, LETS GO NOW! but to us she was so nice!  The next time was at The Ryan Seacrest show, fans would go and wait for the artist, me and a friend where the only one there. She let us inside the station, we gave her flowers, hugged took photos. I was leaving the parking lot, and Brandy was running between the cars to find us. This was before Human was released. She wanted to know our opinions on the songs, what we thought the next single should be, and many other things. I fell in love with her at the point. I saw her when she did a small show in Hollywood, and Ryan let us meet her before she went back to her hotel to get dressed. She asked him why he did not allow us to come watch her in rehearsal? Long story short, this is a bullshit post. I don't care what issues you claim Brandy has, this is not one! 

I have met almost everyone, and there are few artist as personable as Brandy. Yes, Mariah seems very approachable also but that does not discredit Brandy. Sorry to write a novel, but Brandy has really made me feel respected as a fan, I am proud to stan for her. I will even fly to DC again with only a 50% chance that she may perform.

Brandy stood outside for hours EVERY DAY multiple times some days when she had two shows (except the one day off she had a week) for months while she performed on Broadway in NYC, signing autographs, taking pictures, and meeting every fan that waited on her even if they didn't actually see the show... and didn't charge a dime for the "meet and greets." That to me is showing love and appreciation. Mariah has never.

i see wht youre saying  but not everyone reacts the same to every situation so its not too fair to tell someone else how to react.  Yes some ppl have been dragging brandy hard but i do think certain ppl had the right to  drag brandy.  Especially after the DC kennedy center mess brandy deserved to be dragged from DC all the way back to Beverly Hills and i would tell her that to her face.

Nah I've personally had Brandy stop what she was doing multiple times and hug me ,kiss me on the cheek , hold my hand , take photos (FOR FREE) listen to me , thank me , she's the only artist I know who becomes friends with fans and literally makes you feel like the star and remembers you by name . She sucks with releasing consistently but the girl loves her fans lol
