and you can't really box Urban music like that anymore... there's so many variations

Alicia/John ?

Neyo/Beyonce ?

Ledisi/Jill

Erykah/Maxwell

Usher/Rih

Brandy/sTank/Tamar

like... you'd have to do Traditional rNb, rNb/pop, rNb/soul, rNb/Neosoul, Contem rNb, etc

and then what happens when Adele and Sam STORM the rNb/soul cat :dead:

am saying yeah, split up the cats, but am tellin yawl.. the REAL issue is sTank not winning any awards... like.. ever lolz

Yeah basically. Tank and Tyrese stay angry about shit. Trying to use being the "voice of R&B" thing to mask the fact that they're angry that they're flopping  :butwait!:

It's not useless to them
getting something off their chest on their own social networks
no one has to follow them

I said what I said.  :plea:
so did Tank :plea:

Stank can have a several seats :plea:
Mya has several seats
on several dicks :plea:

And so does Tank. Dick riding Tyrese.  :plea:

Just cause he can't get a nod of his own and at the bottom of the barrel.
Tank doesn't even have an album out
he's not out here for himself
Tyrese is his friend, who made a good album
but can't get recognized

Translation dick riding.
no supporting
look it up

Kaeli.

I hope they fucking give him a grammy nom or two because the meltdown is gonna be real if he doesn't.

QuoteIn terms of total album sales, Ginuwine has shifted the most, with 6.98 million, while Tyrese has moved 3.69 million. Tank has sold 1.76 million albums. Ginuwine's best seller is 1999's "100% Ginuwine," with 2 million; while Tyrese's self-titled 1999 debut is his biggest, with 1.3 million. Tank's "Force of Nature," released in 2001, is his largest seller, with 775,000.

I see why Stank stay fuming.  :plzstop:

One thing that was pretty clear last night is that black people are running out of space in the current music climate. Yet our culture remains front a center. So many black back up singers. So much hip hop inspired choreo. 90s style r&b is kinda dominating the white pop market. The street inspired fashions.

I honestly dont know what the solution is. Our artist are producing music at a easy bake oven rate just to stay relevant. But we're lacking artistry in a major way. We are so stuck creatively.

why shouldn't they be mad that R&B as a whole is flopping?
