There was an agenda behind "The Cosby Show" to show an African American family in a positive light.
They have said that themselves multiple times.
There is nothing negative about it.

This is the last I'll say on it. If yall don't get it after this, then you just don't get it. The problem with what Young is saying is that it isn't about a personal definition at all. On a larger scale, when the "gay agenda" is referenced ins the United States, it refers to corruption and has a negative connotation. That's why him taking the term and attempting to put a positive spin on it isn't working. Everyone can see that there's a conscious effort to make LGBT people and ideals more visible in popular culture. But that doesn't equal the gay agenda. Those are essentially two different ideas. He's trying to take the literal definition and equate it to the blanket generalization. It has nothing to do with feeling attacked, offended, or any of that. He's just using it incorrectly. Like I said, I can see why someone in a different country might not grasp it, but he should.

It doesn't make sense for gay men to go around using that term. People like Donald Trump use that term. Standing up and fighting for equality and acceptance isn't an "agenda" or anything like it. There was no black agenda or womens agenda, and there is no gay agenda either. Just a year ago - some people I know thought if you were transgendered you were gay.
Now - they know better. And have a better tolerance for transgenders and gays.
