Were people this pissed when queer eye for the straight guy came out?

I don't feel like they were because they were just a ton of stereotypes.

That's what kinda confuses me.

That was huge in 2004 and I remember the media being all "Gay is IN!" Metrosexual! I rememebr even South Park made an episode about how gay was the new IN thing

So idk I guess I just see it as an over exaggeration when I see someone talk about a gay agenda.

But here's my thing...
I don't think they are doing this disrespectfully.

It's almost like, they are creating these diverse characters to embed the new normal into our lives. It's a beautiful thing.

d

that doesn't seem that different to me.
The only real difference I can see is that I see more black gays now and a lil bit more homosex, but other than that the media don't look that much different from when I was a child.

Well I can't define your experience - I can only define mine.
And I have to say, I didn't see all of this gay back in the late 90s on TV.

Drais, I think you're thinking of a PUSH, like a FORCE feed.
That's not what it is.

It is a PUSH, as in an unconscious push - into our psyche.
But it's enough where someone can realize, like -- uh, wait. :uhh:
Some people may like it. Some may not. But it's obvious.

No

Dorian said they're forcing it down people's throats.

Didn't that Miles guy say they purposely (the producers of love an HH) put him and his boyfriend on the TV, just for the gay storyline?
That doesn't prove anything

But it's a valid factor to some equation.

Caitlyn is a lesbian, therefore homosexual.

g

Please shut the fuck up.

Transgenders aren't automatically gay.

This is why I said no one was really trying to entertain you because you ramble about some bullshit.

wow, yeah, so the general consensus is Malc is a fckin DUMB ASS, and while he has a bigger vocab than Mista, their brains are probably the same fckin size
