Honestly if I had a son I wouldn't want him to watch a gay wedding on television.

That can be very confusing for a child. Homosexuality is not the norm, we're in a minority.
So attempting to put it on the same playing field as heterosexuality just isn't ... acceptable to me . At least when it comes to kids.

I know there are some gays who wanna be seen the same as heterosexual couples...which is why they have heteronormative wedding ceremonies, adopt heteronormative roles into their relationships and stuff but...

I'm not "normal". And I'm kinda OK with that.

I don't believe that a "gay agenda" exists, but this would be a bit too much.

And this is coming from a person who is the LEAST downlow or in the closet person you'd probably ever meet.

I respect your opinion but I'm totally against it. I think they should see it so they'd understand that things are not as black and white in the world.

As this wedding was the definition of a "heteronormative" wedding. Hell, the kids thought Ratburn was marrying his obviously butch ass dyke sister beforeRatburn's groom sauntered down the aisle to take his spot  :plzstop:

let's get right to the cheese wontons
vxgdvdadv

I plan on having one child. So I'm speaking as a prospective parent.

If I were dating someone I wouldn't want my 5 or 6 year old son seeing me hold hands and being affectionate with my man because he would automatically think that's how things are supposed to be . I mean, daddy's doing it. That means it's right.

Now once he got to maybe 13-16 then I'd feel comfortable sitting him down to really let him know what's what. I think by that age he'd be able to understand that what daddy does has nothing to do with what path he'll take in his own life, or what he should and shouldn't feel.

I've always felt like that. I just don't think any and everything should be thrown in front of kids.
and someone who knows that kids are demons, I don't think everything should be shown in front of them either. But the way the world is, they will see it anyways. So sometimes it is just best to get ahead of it and just explain some things. Because with Youtube and Ipads and the Internet, and hell, other kids, they will find out. I'm seeing it with my bad ass nephew. Smart little self.

BTW I love u
