I plan on having one child. So I'm speaking as a prospective parent.

If I were dating someone I wouldn't want my 5 or 6 year old son seeing me hold hands and being affectionate with my man because he would automatically think that's how things are supposed to be . I mean, daddy's doing it. That means it's right.

Now once he got to maybe 13-16 then I'd feel comfortable sitting him down to really let him know what's what. I think by that age he'd be able to understand that what daddy does has nothing to do with what path he'll take in his own life, or what he should and shouldn't feel.

I've always felt like that. I just don't think any and everything should be thrown in front of kids.

Parents have the luxury to turn off the TV and not watch.

But other parents may be ok with their children seeing THE WORLD for what it is. A teachable moment.
