Mariah
If Vonc comes in and says this. The thread should be closed because he drags the fuck out of Mariah at any whim or at any chance he gets.

Beyonce gets great reviews at the time of release, but I don't know how well her albums age.  Lemonade didn't age well for me.

Beychella may end up being her magnum opus, and that's largely because it is performance-based.

I love her, but she doesn't have classic songs in the same way Vision of Love or We Belong Together are heartfelt classics.  Even Fantasy or All I Want for Christmas are lighthearted classics.  The only Bey song on that caliber is... Single Ladies?  Crazy in Love?

Maybe because the industry is different and Bey has chosen to be a visual album artist known for "projects" instead of singles.  Whereas Mariah's #1's alone make a great album because she has classic singles.  On top of better albums than Bey.

Now, performing is Bey all the way.
Sigh......
Not calling 'We Belong Together" a classic and dismissing "Irreplaceable". Just say you dont like the girl and cut the shit.

Those songs don't belong in the same sentence

Irreplaceable and we belong together. Irreplaceable didn't age well at all that's all I will say

Nowhere in the same class. And I just realized that Beyonce doesn't have a classic true BALLAD after all these years.

That's always been a criticism.

Had she handled their release differently and not just dumped a bunch of songs/the whole album out at once, I Care or Resentment could have been that for her.  :fuming:

Nah those songs are like almost IT but not quite there. No damn feeling or connection to those damn songs at all. She even kinda ignores that damn album cause EVEN she KNOWS.

BAPHOMET.

The fucking NERVE when Kelly hates all of her music and lets her retarded son pick out the songs that should be on her album.

I have to laugh.

I don't think Halo is classic.

Single Ladies was a pop culture phenomenon. Crazy in Love was iconic.

I don't think any of her other songs have transcended in the same way.

Murrah

There's way too much emphasis being placed on ballads. Ballads are out. Who is releasing or finding success with ballads outside of Adele?

ok

Dangerously in Love

That's a DC3 song she selfishly claimed as her own. just like she snatched Kelly's Feel The Same Way I Do and Bad Habit for a DC album.
While I agree she has branded this song as her own.
I'm sorry. I dont ever consider DIL a Beyonce song. It was a DC3 record...period.

Regardless, it ain't a classic.   :letsmessfag:

The fact you are bringing Kelly into this at all. Tells me all I need to know.

Mariah's shit is better and that's that! Go watch a live tour DVD or something. We can chat in your 40s which I imagine is very soon and you can tell me if you're still getting in formation and driving round with the partition blasting lol
