Jennifer Lopez has officially signed to LA Reid's Hitco label, multiple sources tell Billboard.

Lopez departs from Epic Records, where Reid formerly served as chairman and CEO. Her latest single "Medicine," featuring French Montana, marks her first release under the Hitco imprint. The superstar will remain with Sony Music Latin for Spanish music.

The deal builds on a long-running working relationship between Lopez and Reid. J. Lo was signed to Island Def Jam under Reid's tenure there as chairman, which saw the release of her hit "On The Floor" and album LOVE? in 2011. Reid then signed Lopez to a long-term contract with Epic in 2016 under his reign as chairman and CEO of the Sony-owned label. Reid left Epic a year later in the wake of a sexual harassment claim made by one of his female assistants and launched Hitco in 2018.

Lopez joins a roster at Hitco that now includes principal signee Big Boi, Yella Beezy, Fifth Harmony's Dinah Jane and SAINT JHN.

A representative for Lopez declined to comment and Hitco did not respond to request for comment.

Every few months, she puts out a song and still no album. Didn't Aint Your Mama come out like 3 years ago?

Murrah

Honestly, she's doing a much better job of maintaining her legacy than some bigger artist like Janet.
