I mean it was very different... There was no Adam Warlock, the time traveling, nebula played a way bigger part than she does in the movie, hell the fact that most of the movie happened on Earth is totally different plus there is no mistress death (the main reason Thanos wanted the stones)

People just overlooked all this but want X-Men movies to be comic accurate and think they are horrible bc they are not smh

I don't think this movie should've been called dark phoenix tho

Are the X-men comics more popular and known than the Avengers?
 I had barely heard of the Avengers prior to the first movie so that kinda helps

No sir... DC comics are still the most popular. Just like their cartoons are bigger... It's only the live action movies that marvel is more popular

Oh I forgot to add that part. Going off track from the comic is a genius idea. It give you different ways that the story can go and people don't care to admit it but they love that. That's why Marval wins when it comes to movies.

GORL...you're only half right. No doubt PISSY slays an Anime. But the comics are neck and neck for the market share and popularity. Marvel was WAY ahead. DC has only recently caught up. I think that's in large part due to their animated mess slaying. If Marvel focused on their animated stuff more their comics would push ahead of DC again.

X-Men and Spiderman were bigger before The MCU kicked off. In 2019, well we know the rest....
