I'm that family member who just eats like deviled eggs & sweet potato pie and that's about it for me. Turkey, stuffing, collard greens, mac n' cheese, oxtails, potato/macaroni salad I just don't fucking USE. For the past 3 or so years I've just been ordering like pizza or chinese or some shit, I know it's so weird.

I'm failing as a black person tbh.

There really is no such thing as "thanksgiving food" different cultures, ethnicities, etc. u make what it is u enjoy

Turkey and turkey gravy
Stuffing and cranberry sauce
Pie and ice cream with some soda pop

And go home

My mom is a shit cook, I tell her all the time and she still walks in that kitchen like she's fucking Rachel Ray.

Stuff I do like (fried chicken, crab salad, porkchops) they never make despite my suggestions.
