Ratings didn't go up because of Nenes absence. They went up because of the drama that occurred at that time which STILL could've occurred with nene being on the show

She brings a level of energy and bullshit to the show that no one else brings and just about everybody on the show has admitted that.

Can the show go on without her? Of course. But it will NOT be the same. The show needs drama. That's what it was built off of. If she is the black sheep of the group, that alone is enough reason to always have her around because that will bring DRAMA. Y'all want a kumbaya mess on these shows knowing damn well that's not why people watch. Lol.

Porsha got a love story now
Kandi is always about her business ventures
Kenya will talk about love and being a mother
Cynthia all booed up too and her daughter in college
Eva got a little drama with her finances

Most of the girls above are not beefing right now and if they are it's nothing serious

But where is the DRAMA!!!?

So many iconic moments from both seasons. Cynth and Porsh's boat fight, Tammy showing up looking like something from a Stephen King flick, "Who Said Dat??!!", Moore Manor vs. Chateau Charade, etc...

I do not disagree. However none of them have the tv personality of Nene. That's just the damn truth.

As someone else said she brings a nostalgia to the show which IMO is necessary. It helps bring things full circle.

My biggest issue with Nene to date was her nonchalance at the reunion. That, IMO, is what really turned a lot of people off to another degree because now you just look like you don't care. If that is the Nene that will be on this new season, she can keep it.

It's almost like RHBH without Lisa V. When she announced she may no longer be on it, the internet's fucking lost it. She may be a sour bitch but she brings a certain element that can't be replaced as an OG.

I think even Cynthia is more popular than her.

Yeah that's where you went wrong

But TBH, I was surprised that it wasn't Porsha. But people forget that Kandi does indeed have a fanbase. She also has the biggest social media following out all of the girls on the show.

But NeNe, Kandi and Porsha, all have the biggest fanbases though.

Nene is not that important. The show was much BETTER when she left.

Kandi, Porsha, Phaedra, Cynthia, Sheree and Kenya carried that show well without her being there and it was still entertaining and it wasn't as draining.
