Ok, so to make this clear, I do NOT like Taylor. But she is not at fault here, and this proof from Scott Borchetta is bullshit. How do you seen 3 paragraphs of a proposal when they was probably many many pages long. You offered her to own her old music, but you would own anything new that she produced. She would constantly be working to pay you back.

Taylor made his label, she generated MILLIONS, he says we do not have 10s of thousands of artist. Taylor was generating more than 50 "average" artists. It is sad how they do WOMEN, from TLC, to Toni to Whitney. They generate millions for these labels and end up broke. What he attached is not the full details of the agreement with Taylor. What would have been right, would be to sell Taylor back her ownership and then sell the record label. But they know that the label is not worth anything without Taylor's music, she is the bulk of the value. This is why they did not give her that opportunity to purchase her music back. It is very likely that Taylor's father knew and did not tell her. White men only care about power and $$$.
