I had some friends who were shading Brandy a couple of weeks when they were in town. Today they started a group chat REPENTING after hearing Love Again. People are really shocked at how good she sounds on this record. They both are anticipating her album

I'm very on the fence with this record. Maybe the ending is too abrupt. Brandy is using so many of her multiple voices on this track. Sounds like she's singing under the beat while Daniel is singing on top of it. Daniel doesn't match her versatility/genius, so she needed to dumb it down a bit. This would slay harder replacing Daniel with Frank Ocean or Luke James.

I love the ending. Very open-ended and fits the mood of lingering hope/optimism..
