So y'all really trying to tell me logically that y'all don't think Irv, her label head isn't the reason Ashanti switched her whole style up in 2004? He's literally done interviews in the past speaking on this topic but I guess it's cool to view it from this alternative.

Men like Irv disgust me. He needs to stop speaking in her. They haven't worked together in what 10/11 years. I'm no Ashanti fan but it's like her purposely goes out of his was to shit on her and I don't like it. At all.

I think Ashanti was Ja and Irvs hush girl if you want to be honest. Most of these producers isn't going to make a star out of a female unless they smash them.

Mary was different. Her body language and the way she talked about Puff was basically like a producer. Ashanti just gave me other vibe when she was with them.
